hello, I see the tutorial for baking texture with ornatrix in maya but in max i painting feather texture of eagle, i test with mesh from strands but not have variation, same probleme with hair from guides see this, i just want baking texture uv in feather projection is possible? with hair work fine but feather look

yes, i activate atlas texture and uv aplied,but is not baking just random.

Hum... I'm not sure if I understand what you need. Can you show me the tutorial you are following and the steps where you are having problems?

I did not find a tutorial for that really, I just want the texture of the sphere to be plated with the same uv on the feathers.  Sorry for my english.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. Normally to get instanced feathers you should turn ON Per-Strand UV Coords. in OxMeshFromStrands. This should help you to map one texture to all the feathers, something like this:

This is in Maya, but it seems this is not working on Max for some reason. I will report this problem, if there is a bug we will fix it as soon as we can. Thank you!
