Regarding Dynamics, can you please give me more details? What is the exact behavior? What is not working for you? About rendering, If I understand correctly, you are trying to render a cache file with hair inside, right? | Hi , thank you for your responde. yes , you are right, i have a scene with ornatix hair system, i create hair cach according of tutorial , mean i select hair then from ornatrix dynamice atribiute i choose the cach box tiked it and then recode dynamic . then i export it by ornatrix allembic , than i import it from add animation of ornatrix shelf. my render engin is redshift .cach dont work when i want to render, i mean, for example when i render frame 30 it shows defult hair. softlearncg.com |

| Thanks for the file. I just tried your scene and it seems to be working fine. First, I added an AnimationCache operator on top of Dynamics operator, then, inside AnimationCache operator I click the Save button and choose a location, then press Record Animation. This process will run the animation and save the simulation to a cache file in your choosen location and the file will be automatically loaded into your AnimationCache operator, then you can delete the Dynamics operator. I also tried rendering with Redshift and it's working fine. Make sure you save the cache correctly and everything should work. I'm including the cache file that I exported for you to test.

Also, I need to know if you tried the latest version of Redshift because that's the version I'm using, maybe this is a Redshift issue and has been fixed in the latest release. | Hi, I think you forgot to add the AnimationCache operator in your scene, I don't see it you the screenshot you just posted. I'm attaching a gif showing how the cache works just fine with Redshift: 
See how the render view updates as I move along the timeline. In your case, maybe there is some incompatibility problem, please try with the latest update of Ornatrix.

| Hi, I'm even more confused now hehe... In your video I can see how the dynamics are working and the render view reflect the changes in the hair. Then in minute 5:33 you delete HairFromGuides and the AnimationCache node stop working. The problem is, let's say, you created a cache with hair strands named A, B and C, then you deleted those hair strands, the AnimationCache node is loading a cache for A, B, and C, but those hair strands are not there anymore. This is how all caches works: If you delete the object from which the cache was made the cache will not have any effect because the hair strands from it depends are not there anymore. You should use the Dynamics node on top of guides instead (Below HairFromGuides), this way you can delete HairFromGuides if you want and add a new one, as long as you don't change the guides the cache will work fine. In resume, the cache is not working for you because you are deleting the hair strands from which the AnimationCache was created. Suggestion: Create the dynamics/animation of the hair when you are done with the grooming, this way you make sure that you make the cache of the final hair.
