[3DSMAX] - Ornatrix Hair (Pre-visualize) in viewport like in Maya viewport.

How do I get something similar to Maya Viewport hair previsualization for Ornatrix in the 3dsmax viewport? I can use a combination of Viewport Shadows and AO + Opacity and Gradient for each hair based on the mapping. But It needs some time to 'update/refine' (viewport will take 10-20 seconds to refine Shadows AO en opacity). And the result is OK, but not as good as the Maya previsualization.

I believe in Max is even easier, you don't have to convert the hair into mesh and the performance is better. Go to Ornatrix settings (The gear button) and increase the Max number of hairs facing the camera to a very high value(9999999), add some lights with different colors and make sure those lights are projecting shadows.
