When I try to move OX hair roots, the 3ds Max crash very often, otherwise, the root move way too far.

My model's length is going to stretch extremly. (from 0.07 cm to 160 cm)

and I need to plant many hairs using 'Custom User Proxy-Mesh' on the stretching model.

I don't know if this is scale problem or not.

but anyway 3ds Max crash very often, when I try to move Ornatrix roots.

So, I'm using 'remove' and 'plant' feature, instead of moving roots. (then, it is OK, though.)

 I'm using the lastest V5.2.9.14713 with 3ds Max 2017.

Thank for your attention.

Hello,

I can't reproduce the crash on my end. Are you able to reproduce this on a clean scene? Can you share the problematic scene for testing?

Update : After I reproduce it on a clean scene, the crash dose not happen.
So now, I guess some combinations of another things and Ornatrix in the complicated scene lead to the crash problem.

But, when I try to move OX hair roots, it move way too far.

I mean, I still can not move the roots where it needs to go.

Only I can do is just remove and re-plant the roots. That's little hassle though.

I'm using the lastest V5.2.9.14713 with 3ds Max 2017.

I sent the reproduced scene for the testing to Jeordanis.f@ephere.com.

Thank you for your time.

FYI :

In my scene, at some point, I can not remove roots any more.

When I try remove root, I got this error messaage. Very frustrating.

I don't have time to redo editing guides,

Hey,

Sorry, can you please remind me from which email address you sent me the scene? I can't find it. Meanwhile, please try the latest nightly build, 5.2.9.14953. We solved a similar crash on the version.

Thanks for your reply.

I sent the scene file for testing to Jeordanis.f@ephere.com again this morning.

It might be in your spam folder.

I'll try the latest nightly build, 5.2.9.14953, like you said.

Hopefully it works out. Thanks.

I can't reproduce this issue yet. Have you tried the latest nightly build?

Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)

All right. I'll try the lastest nightly build. Thanks for your response.
