Hi, I'm not sure, this issue is more related to the transparency I think, not Ornatrix itself. Can you ask on our Facebook group? I'm sure someone will be able to help you there. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
Thanks jeordanis, I just asked here b/c I know a lot of people use max on this forum , and might know. Unfortunately I dont have a facebook account or else I would go there
Ah yes, for sure. Let see if Michael can help you. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
Heya, I think it is an opacity problem. It looks like th hair is fairly transparent at the roots and overlapping is causing the darkening. You could make sure the roots are not transparent and that might help. Thanks Michael
Thanks guys, I will try that, also I heard that vray is great for render to texture, true? Thanks
....hhhm, that seemed to create more shadows, I also disabled shadows from the light. I posted the scene file and tga so if you have time to look at it , you could tell me what I did wrong. Also , I included a jpg of what i'm shooting for. Thanks
well, I thought maybe rendering with mentalray would help but this is what I got........ "31 MB error: Invalid normal found on object "HairFromMeshStripsObject001" on face 9603, replacing with a dummy normal"......... and it renders black Attached Files:
