Ornatrix 3dsmax: Can't render hair using guides

I created guides for a hairstyle in Zbrush, but can't get anything to render when using ox guides from shape. As you can see, hair renders fine, when I create a temporary skull cap and use ox guides from surface. What am I doing wrong?

maxmoud	I'm using Ornatrix 4.4 and Rendering with Corona 1.7 Well, I got it to work with Max's native hair/fur modifier, so I suppose I'll just use that in this case...

Laurelion	I think that the correct workflow is: Ox Guides from shapes OX Ground Strands -> Base surface -> Select your base surface Ox Hair from guides -> Root Distribution Roolout -> Guides as Hair Ox Render Settings VrayOrnatrix mod if you use vray.
