Hi guys, We would like to announce that Zookeeper Version 1.0 is now available for purchase and download. You can find more information on the Zookeeper's project page. We have also posted a new video demonstrating a procedural sky setup and some particle flow interfaces. Zookeeper is available for $199 for a limited time as an introductory offer (20% less than the future/regular $249 price). Feel free to download a demonstration version and give it a spin. We are really grateful for your support and we hope to improve the workflow of Zookeeper and 3d studio max for many versions to come. All 1.x updates, new tools, and training will be available free to our customers. Thank you very much for your attention. What's the deal with the licensing? Is it tied to the machine or can I use it at both work and home?

It is tied to the machine and you can use it at both locations just please let us know before you do so that it can be extended. (By default it will only work at one place at a time) Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

Sorry about that, seems to be a technical difficulty on the server it being ironed out right now. I've just set everything up manually, you should be good for two licenses. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

I'm getting the "Please Locate the License Server" message when trying to start ZK, and both the online and offline installers aren't installing the License Server service.

Bill, Do you still get the "Please Locate License Server" message or nothing is installed in the first place? Help file should be at 3dsmax/help/ephere.plugins.autodesk.max.zookeeper.chm, and uninstaller should be accessible via Windows' installed programs dialog. Nothing is installed at the first place i'm afraid. No windows entries , no LM, no helpfiles. It looks like you manualy placed only the plugins and dlls in the coresponding folders. Hope this helps. By the way i'm using the offline installer.

Do you get a dialog prompting you to select which Max versions to install from? if not, do you have any firewalls turned on? Another user had problems with version selection dialog not appearing and turned out to be caused by the firewall. I am going to track this issue down, though I cannot reproduce it locally at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

First, my firewall is totaly disabled ;) Next i get a window saying which vesrion i want (only 2010 64bit in my case as i selected only that and help files to download at first place). Then i press next and some procedure is running and after that green bars confirms that ONLY the dll and dlu are in place. Not any LM confirmation nor help file.

Seems like an OK install. There is no LM for the demo version, it is a different .dll altogether from the commercial version. Does it still ask for the LM when you start it in 3dsmax? Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)
