dear ephere staff, we are very interested in obtaining zookeeper for 3dsmax 2010 64bit, but we have an issue on all our workstations, starting up zookeeper within 3dsmax. First error: System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Int32 Autodesk.Max.IGlobal.RegisterNotification(Delegate4, System.Object, Autodesk.Max.SystemNotificationCode)'. Second error: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
the online installer also doesnt work and exits the procedure unexpectedly. please advice, thanks philipp, www.ninc.at

Hi Philipp, It seems like the Zookeeper dll you have is not a 2010 version. Can you please let me know how you installed Zookeeper (was it using the offline installer)? You say that the online installer doesn't work. Does it show you any type of error? If so, can you please post it here? Thanks Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

Dear Marsel, we used the offline installer with the described behavior. and then after uninstalling and retrying also the online installer online installer error: Illegales Zeichen im Pfad. I think this might have something to do with Unicode paths. It is strange, however, that the offline installer works while the online installer doesn't. I've just tried it out locally and all seems to work well. Can you please let me know the full installation path of your 3dsmax? Sorry for the inconvenience. I have ran some more tests, however, unfortunately I cannot reproduce this locally. I did add some additional debugging info into the installer to try and pin this down on your end. Could you please re-download and run the web installer? It should give a different error this time, please paste it here. Thanks Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
