Maybe this is mentioned somewhere here but: Is it necessary to have ZooKeeper installed on all computers that must open a file that was created with it, like render nodes or other companies working on the same project, etc...?
This is a real pain. Would you be able to change the operation such that the zookeeper data is held in another format/node that isn't reliant on accessing the plugin? I believe rpmanager manages to do this.
