Hello, trying to import groom from maya 2022 into Unreal 4.26.2 to use with ornatrix plugin. Going through your tutorial. I make default Fur Ball, then I press generate groom, save it as .usda Then, when I import this file inside Unreal, it recognizes as ornatrix groom, but it's empty inside. What do I do wrong? Also sometimes I get an error when trying to open groom inside Unreal

Just to report, using Maya 2023 and 2019. and unreal 4.27.2 and have to say I have the same problem. Followed the process here and your tutorial, but from Maya it generates .oxgroom even after I typed .oxg.usda . So I Tried to rename it manually to usd or usda because unreal wont accept .oxgroom format saying failed unrecognized format, and import to unreal. After importing .usd or .usda in the viewport no hair appeared and when play with the ornatrix tab it says this groom component is empty no groom asset selected. Pretty much like the second image post above from Nize, no groom asset in the tabs

An update, different versions of ornatrix for Maya like v4 still allows for .usd or .usda export, no more .oxgroom generated. But once the usda groom is imported into unreal they all crash with this message. Unreal 4.27.2 and latest ornatrix unreal. Really hope you guys can fix the error importing to unreal and crashes. Thanks
