Hello,

There was a problem with our central license server. It is now fixed. Please try again.

Would my work VPN cause a problem?

In this case, there might be something blocking the connection to the license server. First, make sure that your antivirus or firewall are not blocking the Ephere License Server, then release your license in Account -> My Licenses. Try to load the plugin again. Also, when installing the plugin, make sure that UE is not running.

Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to report an issue I've encountered with the Ornatrix plugin for Unreal Engine following a recent reinstallation of Windows on my system. Before the reinstallation, the plugin was functioning correctly, but now it seems to be non-operational within Unreal Engine.

I have attempted basic troubleshooting steps such as reinstalling the plugin, ensuring that it is compatible with my current version of Unreal Engine, and verifying that all necessary dependencies are installed. Despite these efforts, the plugin remains unresponsive.

Could you please advise on any additional steps I might take to resolve this issue? Are there any specific logs or system information that would be helpful for you to diagnose the problem more accurately?

I am using Unreal Engine version 5.3 and Ornatrix version 1.0.9.33672. My operating system is Windows 11.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your guidance on how to proceed and hope to resolve this issue promptly.

Best regards,

Hi,

Do you mean that the plugin doesn't appear in your UE UI?
It could be a licensing issue.

Send us the file "%TEMP%\OrnatrixUE.log" and check if file "OrnatrixUELicenseServerIP.txt" exist in %LOCALAPPDATA%.

I'm not sure about reinstallations, but I know that installing a Windows feature update changes the Windows Product Id, which is included in the hardware identification our license server does.

So licenses need to be reset (on the Licenses web page) and reassigned to the new version of Windows.

I often encountered a similar problem. My computer is connected to the router via a network cable and a similar error constantly popped up. But I noticed that there were no connection problems on my work laptop. At the same time, the laptop was connected to the router via Wi-Fi. I decided to check if the problem could be related to the connection via cable. And indeed, this is what happened. I connected to the router via a Wi-Fi adapter on my desktop computer and the problem with activating the license went away. Apparently, there was a conflict due to the connection ports. Maybe this experience will help someone.
