Cannot ground hair on alembic.

As the title suggests.

I have an alembic human head exported from Maya and hair curves exported from Unreal. I would like to ground the curves to the alembic model but when I do they snap to arbitrary points. New grooms work on the mesh but not the hair file.

Any pointers as to how to solve this?

I believe a bug like this was already fixed. Are you on the latest Ornatrix build? If the problem persist in the latest build we need your scene for testing. You ca DM it to me on discord or send it to jeordanis .f (at) ephere .com.

Thanks for the reply. I've managed to find a workaround by deleting all the groom information from unreal in Houdini before bringing in the curves. (Added benefit I can reduce the amount of hair on the way as it's far too heavy to sim otherwise.) Then create the guides from curves using the built in menu. 

The process is working thus far, if I encounter or need to grounding later I will definitely email / talk to you on Discord.
