Ornatrix hair width issue

I have attached a video describing the issue.

00:31 to 02:48:
Step 2: Using Ornatrix plugin to add new hair, increase the width (for the missing hair issue, reported in another thread), Convert the ornatrix hair back to Native Metahuman hair

02:49 until end:
step 3: Observe the Metahuman Hair texture and thickness

Hair texture and thickness of the entire hair is changed. The hair now looks plastic and artificial.

How do I adjust the width of just the newly added hair ? assuming that it solves this issue.

Sorry for not being descriptive. The issue was that , to the existing metahuman groom, we were trying to add hair. The newly added hair would dissapear when we convert back from ornatrix hair to native MH hair. This was solved by a work around suggested by @Charlyxxx , in another thread. The work around was to increase the width of the hair before converting to native hair. This was leading us to another issue, the increased width used to affet full groom not just the newly added hair. Making the hair look like plastic threads. We have found a work around for this. After converting the hair back to native MH hair, we adjust the width of the hair back to original values in UE. This brings the groom back to its original state. This is no more a stopper for us as we have found a work around. But would be nice to fix this issue, by allowing width increase for group of selected hair, than the entire groom. If this feature is already built in, please point us. It would help others.
