Title:Brush Offset - all R23 Nightly Builds

Problem

Description:

In all R23 builds till now the paint brush in edit strands modifier offsets the affected area by a lot the further your cursor is away from the viewport center.

Steps to Reproduce:

Create a plane. Make editable. Create Groom - Fur ball. Select edit guides modifier in the stack and try to comb or cut. In the viewport center it works as expected - combing in the rim area of the viewport you get extreme offsets to the affected guides - depending on the viewport size.

In all S22 builds of Ornatrix this worked properly.

Sorry, forgot to say: it's on Windows 10. No difference when using mouse or tablet.

Hello,

We are investigating this issue but we are not able to reproduce it yet. Can you please try with "Use Tablet Pressure" turned ON and turned OFF and tell me if it makes any difference?

Hi Jeordanis,

I've installed the newest Nvidia driver now, tried with and without Use Tablet Pressure, tried with and without Use Highres Tablet from the C4D prefs and as said before, when using a normal mouse it is absolutely the same. Very annoying. Sculpting in C4D just works fine. I don't have these problems anywhere else, even in C4d S22. Unfortunately it seems not to make any sense to send a scene file in this case.

Ornatrix_C4D_R23_2_2.0.8.25574 seems to behave a little better, but there is still a big offset ...

Cheers

Hi Martin,

We are still investigating this issue but I will keep you updated on any news. Thank you for reporting this.

Ornatrix_C4D_R23_2_2.0.8.25619 WORKS!

Thanks a lot!

This issues was caused by a change in Cinema 4D matrices, this affected Ornatrix. It should work better now.
