Seems Ornatrix can not see or work with dirty/deformed objects

like in https://developers.maxon.net/docs/Cinema4DPythonSDK/html/modules/c4d/C4DAtom/GeListNode/BaseList2D/BaseObject/index.html?highlight=deform#BaseObject.GetDeformCache

Steps to Reproduce:

i add example with skinned mesh, joints and surface-deformer which handles Scalp object

Solution(but we lose procedural), we can to bake animation to pla(point level animation)

Hi!

I found the problem is on the Surface Deformer only. Seems like the initialized data is not being preserved when we copy the object to Ornatrix.

I've tried a few solutions without success, I'm now waiting for Maxon support to give some clue.

Meanwhile you can achieve the same result using a Selection Tag and turning on Ue Face Include in GFM, instead of the scalp.

Will keep you informed.

Thank you, i think, i close this report. I used scalp from 3dsmax tutorial. I did not see at res file that it supports selections.
