I think the name is not displayed after the icon is caused by the r19 and r20 folders in the plugin directory. But after I deleted them, I just showed the names "about Orinatrix" and "add hair". I still can't use it to create hair in the scene.
I know that I need to select a sphere and then do the add hair operation, but this still has no effect.
Hi, Sounds like an installation issue. What installation steps are you following? Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
I think I had followed the instructions on the installation instructions. Of course, I first unpack it in the download directory and copy it into the plugin directory. When I complete "Readme.txt" ‘s steps directly, If I delete the R19 folder directly, the plugin will not be recognized. If I open C4D first, there will be my first report.Just like that screenshot. Then I will delete the R19 folder of the plugin directory and the situation in #18903 will appear.
When I did the operation again, #18915 is not happened . I think it may be that when I installed it Just a few minutes ago, I accidentally pressed command +alt+v when I copied it, or other complicated situations. So I think we can ignore my reply #18915. Of course, now, I have followed the installation steps ,and Plugin still has no way to use.

Thank you for the screenshot, we're looking into it Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)
Thanks Attached Files:
I think these files are placed in the correct path.
Another screenshot Attached Files:
Looks like you're missing a folder called Grooms (path seen on the Add Hair dialog), containing .oxgroom files
| I don't have this folder a folder called Grooms in the plugin directory I downloaded.
|
I found the folder called Grooms in Ephere /OrnatrixMaya folder. The reason make the error is because the path of the downloaded file is wrong? When i use this Ornatrix/Ephere/OrnatrixMaya/Grooms it is ok
Are you really sure you have correct installation? Similar screens on win10 (just single visible tag in plugin menu, second one has no icon, but on click open empty groom window) I can get in case of duplicit plugins loaded. If plugin is entered (by user mistake) in both plugin folders at the same time (for example plugin folder in preferences and also created plugin folder inside core installation of cinema4d and in both is present plugin), I get the same screens as you describe... btw, in this case I describe in plugins menu is plugin named "R20" instead of "Ornatrix"
Yes, I confirm that it is installed correctly. I have repeatedly installed it many times. When I redefine the file path in the script panel, that is, after changing the original Ornatrix/Grooms to Ephere/OrnatrixMaya/Ornatrix/Grooms, I can use it normally.
Maybe the problem is on our end, we'll check Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)
I am basically sure. The error occurred because the Grooms folder path of the MAC version of the plugin is different from the script panel preset. The windows version of the plugin's Grooms folder path is correct. This can't even be considered a BUG. It's just a careless little mistake when the file is packaged.Hahahaha
Right, this was just a copy-paste mistake. It's fixed in 17234, but currently the Mac version won't load because of incorrect Qt dependencies, should be ready a bit later. Ivan Kolev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) E-mail: ivan.kolev at ephere dot com Discord: ikolev

17303 for Mac is up, verified to work with R19 and R20. One important detail of the manual installation is to *move* the plugin file from the R19 or R20 directory, not copy it. Updated the Readme. Ivan Kolev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) E-mail: ivan.kolev at ephere dot com Discord: ikolev
