0.1.9.20135 Version Render Count parameter not working in Redshift for c4d.

I know that It is working to only guide count on Ipr window.

In previous version, I set 50,000 render count although count fraction is 10% then final result is 50,000 count.

However, now it is not working so I have to set count fraction is 100% then preview speed is very slow.

When it is fixed?

now, I use Cinema 4d R20, 20.057 version and redshift 3.0.00.

please answer to me. thanks.

Hi,

I cannot reproduce this issue, however I'm using Redshift 2.6.44, I can't find a version 3 of Redshift on their website.

0.1.9.20149 version work fine.

You can download redshift 3.0.04 on forum page.

I attached Link. https://www.redshift3d.com/forums/viewforum/42/

You need to login and purchace license. maybe.. I think you are developer so you can download it.

Anyway, 0.1.9.20149 version updated before 5 hours ago is work fine. Thanks. :)

Redshift 3 is what Im using latest version 3.0.0.5

The Hair from guides/ Render Fraction is what is displayed in both viewport and Progressive IPR for Redshift, the guide count is not what is in the IPR window.  When I go to bucket render the full hair count is rendered.  To test this take down the Rende Count to a low number like 20, your see 20 hairs rendered in bucket render mode.  So the Render Fraction is for preview both in the viewport and progressive IPR.  I would like to have the option to see the full render count in IPR progressive separate from the viewport but that's another thing.

So, the actual problem is that viewport fraction is used by Redshift on the IPR render. We have been in contact with RS devs about this (Last year) but that's actually how Redshift work, at least in Maya and C4D. For IPR rendering Redshift will render whatever state objects have in the viewport, this affects Ornatrix hair as well. I will let you know if that changes in the future but that is a limitation right now.
