I'm I blind, or why can't I figure out how to render anything? Would like to use Octane, but even can't see anything in Standard Renderer. Sry for the simplest problem I have :-)

Hello, Octane and the standard renderer are not nativelly suported yet, they are working to make it possible. Right now Redshift is the only renderer with native Ox hair support. However, there is a workaround to render with other renderers. WIth Arnold and Octane you can convert the hair to curves and render the hair as curves. Add the Curves From Strands operator to the hair object, In Arnold you have to add the Arnold Attributes tag to the hair as well to render the curves as hair, Octane should have a similar tag. Another option is to just convert the hair to polygon mesh using the Mesh From Strands operator. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)

Sure, see the Pipeline integration and Rendering sections in the docs here: https://ephere.com/plugins/maxon/c4d/ornatrix/docs/1/ Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)

Thank you for posting this important detail. None of this was obvious from the documentation. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't control the hair color at all from the Melanin settings in the Standard hair Shader till I switched from Mesh from Strands to Curves from Strands and used the Arnold Parameters tag as well. I tried following your Ornatrix C4D Arnold channel export and couldn't duplicate the results too.
