If I plant one guide I can brush that guide but if I add two and use a brush it will affect the 2 which means I cant brush them individually...even if i select one using the select tool in edit guides where the brush tools are it still affects the 2

Turn ON Affect Selected Only in the brush settings in Edit Guides.
