I training to make a combination of facial hair and with this count my fps in viewport very slow, with freezes. I have 2 cards 1080ti and 5820k intel

result. There are around 3million of the polygon in render but if I hide ornatrix hair fur in object manager it still low fps. Need some tips how to optimize scene if I wont to make serious videos with several characters in focus

It will all depend on the operators that you are using, the hair amount and the amount of details on the hair. I can´t tell without looking into your scene.

Some advices. Don´t increase the viewport count to 100% if you are ready to render.

You mentioned that you have 3 million polygons, is this for the hair only? If so, this makes me think that you are rendering the hair as polygons, which you should not do unless you are using an unsupported renderer.

oops!  sorry. And there is near 4 million strands. I use redshift.

I also noticed if I add a texture mask to the distribution of hair and put the amount of hair for example 1000, then this hair is initially distributed throughout all model and removes those that did not fall into the mask. That is if my model is the whole body of the character, then in order to get the right amount of hair on the eyebrows, I need to greatly increase the total amount of render count that loads the scene. Maybe somehow it is possible that the entire render count is generated only in the specified mask, for example, if I enter a value of 1000, then in the mask area will these 1000 hairs be generated, not to the whole model?
