Hi

Iv added Mesh from strands, and get a nice preview of the hair, however when im trying different Interpolation settings the hair is highlighted it as blue.  Is it possible to view the hair without the blue highlit over it?

Thanks, Dan

Hi,

Can you show me a screenshot?

Hi.

Yes,  as you can see in this screenshot the blue shade is showing when i rather just see the hair itself..

Also, it would be nice to see the result from the end of the stack when changing the interpolation settings, but of course, as the order of operation is from top to bottom this is not possible.

Thanks.

Isn't this just Cinema 4D's selection highlight?

I can see hair in the viewport with C4D own hair system all be it not very nice, not sure what the blue highlight wth Ornatrix is but its stopping me from viewing what the outcome is.  For instance, while making clumps, I see the blue hairs so I have to keep switching between clump and Mesh from guides.

In Maya you can see the hair outcome.

Thanks.

Thank you, I understand now. I have been discussing this with the team in the past. I will trigger the conversation again to see what can be done to improve this. I will keep you posted.

Hey Dan,
Already fixed too.

No this is not fixed, when you select Hair From guides the hair turns Blue, I want to see the Mesh from Strands while altering Interpolation settings.

.

Ok, I get it.
We used to display both when selecting Mesh From Strands, I thought that was the problem.

Let's see what we can do, because by default we need to see the strands of the selected operator.
