Hello.

Cinema4D R23.110 (Build RB330286)

Ornatrix v2.1.5.27045

Preview and rendering results do not match. Here is how to reproduce the problem.

1. Convert a mesh with a deforming animation into hair using "Hair From Mesh Strip".

2. Add "Clump" under the "Hair From Mesh Strip" and Press "Create Clumps" button.
3. Go to the next frame.
4. No problem in preview. But the wrong clump will appear in preview by switching the checkbox of "Ornatrix Display Tag".

The wrong clump will also appear in rendering.

Look at the attached c4d file.

Hi,

To generate clumps properly with the Clump modifier you should increase the hair count in the viewport to 100%, click Create Clumps and then you can reduce the hair count back. This works in your scene.

it works fine in preview, but not in rendering. Watch this video to see the steps I followed.

I can see that the problem is not in the render, but in the animation. The clumps change even in the viewport when I play the animation. We will investigate this asap and keep you posted. Thank you.

Hi,

Did you intent to animate the Clump Count parameter?

No. I'm using with a fixed value.
