Hello, I use Cinema 4D and was noticing that there are tutorials for all the different platforms, Maya, Max and so on. IS Ornatrix the same on all platforms? It seemed when looking around there are more tutorial videos for Maya, but can I view Maya tutorial videos if the plug in is the same for all platforms to learn from? If there are any spacific links or Cinema 4D users on getting started, can you please direct me to those links? I looked at the Docs area, but wondering about learning videos since it would be quicker. Thanks! | |

 | Hi, Good question. You are correct. Ornatrix is designed to be the same on all platforms. There are a few small differences in the UI and the implementation of some interactive tools that HAVE to be different due to the natural of each platform, but you should be able to apply any tutorial for Maya in C4D and viceversa. We are trying to grow our Discord community. So, if you have problems understanding tutorials please join our Discound channel and feel free to ask questions. In the documentation for Ornatrix in C4D you can find useful information in the Tutorials section. I recommend starting with Basic Concepts to get a good foundation of how Ornatrix works, the data flow and the UI. Then, continue with Grooming Basics to understand a very basic and concise workflow. | Thanks for the reply Jeordanis! That is good to know and I am on Discord for a number of other things so I will definatly add it. I will grab the demo today to test it out and run through the tutorials. I hope this will be a better hair soulution than C4D's internal one. |
