Hi! I'm trying to use a sweep Nurbs in C4D, using an instance of the Curves from strands modifier, however i dont know of any way to lock the rotations of the strands. I notice proxy mesh from strands does lock the rotation, however i would like more control over my meshes and a sweep nurbs provides this, any suggestions?

I actually would like to aovoid using mesh from strands and use C4Ds native system to sweep a mesh along a curve. Is it possible to lock the rotation of curves instead?

We don't have that feature but try adding a Ground Strands modifier, ground the roots and uncheck Rotations. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)

I wasnt able to produce results where the strands rotations are locked using ground modifier.
How might i go about creating material variation with proxy meshes? I am using a procedural Redshift shader
