Ornatrix C4D: hair from mesh strips to specify individual colors

Hello, I'd like to ask you something during the hair test using the demo version. When you use hair from mesh strips to do hair work, if you put texture in the redshift material, the color doesn't change from the root, but the pattern goes into the hair. I want to make a pattern by adding color from the roots, so how should I approach it?
