Hello, I searched the Internet for an option how to actually UV Unwrap and texture my Haircards generated with Ornatrix inside C4D. I found Tutorials on Maya, but the workflow is not the same. I actually not finding an option how to actually Unwrap the cards and make them all align for one single haircard texture. If there is an tutorial out there please let me know. If not, I would be very thankful if you could get me a quick guide for the steps I need to make.
Thanks in advance! <3 | |

Ok found myself a solution! But there is another problem, I am doing the texturing outside of ornatrix with simple meshes and then using them inside Ornatrix as Proxy Meshes. I followed a tutorial for this, but at my end the Proxy mesh won't show up. Not in the viewport neither in the rendering. I attached my scene file. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem and managed to find the solution, but my textures are stretched. How can I apply a texture on a card without distortion? | |

Try disabling some of the inherited properties in Mesh from Strands. It depends on your hair setup. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.) |
