Transfer hairs from one mesh to another with changed vertex order

Hi. I have 2 meshes with the same UV and poligons but with different vertex order. I transfer vertex maps, but when I try to change my new mesh to ornatrix node guides from mesh all are gone even if I reselect vertex maps

Hi, You should use Ground Strands to attach the guide’s roots to the other mesh. Both meshes have to be in the same position. Then collapse the stack starting from Ground Strands to remove the connection to the old mesh.
 
Another way is to just bake the whole groom if you are done with it and attach it to the new mesh with the resulting BakedHair modifier.
