Hello. My IT team and I have been unsuccessful in installing Ornatrix for C4D 2023. Rory my IT support replied the following to me. Also, there was an error message which I could not paste so I have attached it as a text file. . Seems that the license server script isn't executing properly on macOS. Here are the steps i tried:
Update Maxon Software to latest version
Update C4D to latest version - Maxon Cinema 4D 2023.2.2
Install Plugin - Downloaded version from URL you provided - "Ornatrix_C4D_2023_2_2.4.1.32577_35302039203431393932.pkg". <-- this was successful like yours
Downloaded the license server script "InstallLicense.35302039203431393932.1.run" and executed the script via terminal, but ran into errors below.
Attempted to start the license server anyway via terminal, but confirmed that was not installed correctly as the output was "/Applications/Ephere/LicenseServer.sh start License server not installed"

| Hello, Are you using an Intel Mac or Apple Silicon? Have in mind that Ornatrix is not supported yet (We are working on it) on Apple Sillicon. | Hi Ivan/Jeordanis, Have redownloaded the script and executed it again, and can now see that the license is assigned on the 'My Licenses' page and that the license server is running when we look via terminal as per attached screenshot. However, when we launch Cinema4D it is missing the application menubar / Extension bar for Ornatrix.

| I've also tried to 'Open with Rosetta' for the Cinema 4D.app and still no luck. Have also tried to manually insert the /Applications/Maxon Cinema 4D 2023/plugins folder into the 'Plugins' Preferences window/ Also tried to MOVE the /Applications/Maxon Cinema 4D 2023/plugins/Ornatrix folder to another spot /Users/Shared/Ornatrix & also the ~/Library>Preferences>Maxon>Maxon Cinema 4D 2023_3BE69839 > plugins folder - neither have worked when reloading Cinema 4D.app |
| An ARM app cannot load a x86 plugin. I don't know if C4D can run as a x86 app on ARM hardware, but that's the only option to run Ornatrix on ARM Macs. You can't start the ARM build of C4D as a x86 app through Rosetta emulation, there must either be a separate x86 build that can be installed/run, or a universal build that can somehow be forced to run as x86 on ARM hardware (don't know if that's possible).
