3.0.5.33294 nightly build for 2024 has issue in the length node when using the vertex map
The same happens when opening this scene in C4D 2023, so this is not 2024-specific.
We'll investigate it.

Please try the new 3.0.5.33315 nightly build, should fix the usage of maps to control hair parameters.
