Hi all , thank you for your C4D bridge developement !

Do you think you could share with us a Roadmap like of what will be added in the C4D version plz ?

for example , Ox_dynamics etc or other missing stuff as I can see on the 3dsmax youtube demos ..so we can know which feature is there , which is missing etc ?

Any existing documentation ?

Thanks !

ha and I don't see how to edit a post here so I add another one :P :  ( ha ! I see an edit option above this second message :) ..not the 1st one )

will Ornatrix have his own hair shader in a final state ? or is it 'just' the grooming/dynamic tool and use any 'external shader' ?

thx

Thank you for the question. So currently we have a "minimal" implementation of Ornatrix in C4D (although we have been working on it for close to a year now). We want to test a few things, most importantly how people will react to the tag-based workflow which we chose. As we move forward we will be adding more and more features, eventually approaching parity with Ornatrix 3dsmax and Maya.

In terms of dynamics we will likely port a more procedural "Oscillator" first which allows basic fur/short hair dynamics, and later add our Moov hair physics system which is a fully-fledged simulation engine for hair.

Documentation currently is almost non existent and can be found here: https://ephere.com/plugins/maxon/c4d/ornatrix/docs/1/
As time goes forward we will keep updating this page with more concrete docs. We also will be regularly releasing new builds (typically once every two weeks) so stay tuned. Nightlies are also available for quick fixes and such.

We currently support C4D R19 and will be switching to R20 in next version (should also be in the nightly). So meanwhile please install Ox and give it a spin, and let us know what you think.

thank you Marsel :) .

Thanks on the update. I am really interested in the procedural workflows. -There s so much you can do.

Thanks for info!
