I realy need to be able to edit my original post to update to change info, would also be helpfull if I could go back the general forum without having to go back to the root of all forums.

Update:  I found just pressing delete on the button without nothing selected causes the crash.

Yes, I confirm with nightly build 0-0-2-17126

  1. I add hair
  2. Set root mode, select several strands, set new channel and assign value. If i right click at new channel (left click does not work at this customgui, select all channels), delete and c4d crash without creation of bug-reports in user folder

Thank you for the report, we're on it

@ilay7k  thanks for the confirmation, can you get it to crash also just by not having anything selected, just be in root mode then press delete in the channels?

Marsel, as Iv just confirmed its a bug do you want me to report it on the proper forum, thats what Im used to doing in Betas, confirm in general forum, then report it as bug?

@Rectro

yes. i think it's work in progress beta. so our mission to polish it with developer

probably, there is not triggers between button Delete and customgui Channels

Hi!

This has been fixed just now, please try the next build.

Roger

@Roger

Action with delete fixed - confirm

But workflow with channels is work in progress?

The workflow was copied from Ornatrix Maya.

You can see the channels only when using the Paint brush, using that channel on subsequent nodes should work.

Same for groups. Here I agree the interface could be more intuitive and responsive.

@rsodre

Roger thank a lot for tip, will dive in it
