Problem

Description:

Hi,

when I try to add moov physics modifier Max crashes :( when I delete this file C:\ProgramData\Ephere\Ornatrix\Scripts\Moov\HairSimulator.py and try to add modifier its ok but when I try to load the script back it crashes. So its somehow related to that script file.

Any ideas?

3ds max 2019.3 (21.3.0.3250)

Ornatrix 6.1.1.18488

Windows 10

Python 2.7.12 (dont know maybe could be related to this problem)

Thanks

Steps to Reproduce:

Same here! :/

Hello,

We have been looking into this, unfortunately I cannot reproduce it, but we are investigating.

Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)

We tired all versions of 3dsmax 2019 (0, 1, 2, 3) with our official builds and could not reproduce the crash on any of these. Not sure what else can be tried other than maybe a Teamviewer session.

Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

We are experiencing the same crash problems with 3dsmax 2019 (2) and Vray 3.60.04 and ornatrix

6.0.18.17537.

What I don't understand. Is ornatrix V6 still beta and should we use V5 for production?

edit: Did upgrade to 6.1.2.18626 -> Still crashing when adding  oxMoovPhysics

same here - crash 3ds max 2018 evere time when OX Mooce modifier is added to stack - latest vertion of Ornatrix

Ok so what we can do with it? We have project with a lot of hair animation on the way... :(

Hello,

I just moved to lates stable and Max dont crash after Moov modifier added. But Im getting some errors can you check it?

Hair model created: 300 strands, 3000 particles, 5100 constraints, 1 meshes
Ornatrix Error: KeyError: ('MassPerVertex',)

At:
<string>(261): HasChangedParameters
<string>(287): UpdateParameters
<string>(328): Evaluate
<string>(382): Evaluate

Ornatrix Error: Error during script execution

its testen on simple geosphere with default groom presset

i tried to delete MassPerVertex vaule which caused that error in scrip and it starts working :)

Now it just showing this warning.

Sorry.....my bad. Everything is ok now.
