| Description: | Hello, As the title suggests, I have provided a Max 2020 file below. The guides are clearly visible in the viewport after the conversion from mesh Strands, however all the modifiers above seem to ignore it. Thank you in advance and hope to hear back from you shortly.  | Hello, Guides from Guide Mesh seems to be working fine. The hair is not being generated because you are not providing a dependency mesh to Hair from Guides. Use Ground Strands to ground the roots below Hair from Guides.

| Thank you! That worked, only I had to delete and reapply hair from guides for it to work for some reason. Things may have changed a bit, this is an upgrade for me since version 3 :). Also Guides from Guide Mesh includes grounding paramters, It didn't occur to me I needed ground strands modifier on top. Have a good day. | |
