Problem

Description:

Hello there.
So, I have finally groomed my mouse.  But the animations flicker.  So, I use the Bake Modifiers option and the strands and the hairs change and do not look at all like the groom.  They actually look like garbage.

From what I can see, the Bake Modifiers is ignoring all the maps I used.  I have maps on Strand Length, Comb Ammount, Frizz, Change Width and Clump.

Ornatrix Version 8.0.9.32946

Steps to Reproduce:

Hi,

Is the flickering on the viewport, rendering or both? Flickering usually happens when rendering on a render farm and Remember Root Positions is not enabled in Hair from Guides and Guides from Surface.

Another cause can be using the Surface Comb modifier and not baking it. Or using many Frizz and Curl modifiers on top of each other and not baking them or not setting the object pivot correctly.

About the groom changing when collapsing, I would like to see a screenshot and get a minimal version of your scene for testing. You can reachout directly on our discord server(Link in my signature).
