Defect: Version 8.1.0.33525 Lot's of crashes

Description:

So I have been playing around with the new v8 Ornatrix for 3Ds Max 2024.

I have been trying to groom a simple monster fur body and while doing so I encountered countless crashes and corrupt ENU folders.
In the end I just had to give up. The upcoming day'd I'll try to reproduce the crashes and report back.

My system:

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16-Core
RAM 128 GB
2x 3090 RTX

3Ds Max 2024.2
Vray 6 update 2

Steps to Reproduce:

One thing I found out to make Max crash (by opening the slate editor) is doing the following:
create a Vray hair material
add an OX hair shader and link it to the diffuse slot
add a bitmap and connect it to the ox Hair input slots
now add a color correct map in between...
Max crashes and if you manage to open the file again, opening the slate editor crashes Max.
