| Description: | Assigning a Channel to any modifier crashes 3dsmax. But after restarting 3dsmax the recovery .max file that gets saved just before the program closes works and the channel is assigned. So the crash only occurs during the assiging of the channel and not because it's assigned. I first discovered it when using 2 stacks clumping modifiers with generate ClumpIDs on the first and used in the channel of the second modifier.

| Steps to Reproduce: | Option A 1 Create a clumping modifier 2 Create ClumpIds checkbox 3 Create a second clumping modifier 4 Assign ClumpIDs as the channel in the second clumping modifier 5 MAX CRASHES 6 Restart 3dsmax and Recovery .max file works
Option B 1 Assign a channel to any Ornatrix modifier 2 CRASH 3 Restart 3dsmax and Recovery .max file works |

 | Hi, Are you using 3dsmax 2024.2? I had the same problem with a Ornatrix install from a few months ago and when I installed the latest version still have the same crash. It's an empty scene with a sphere and two OX modifiers. Thanks! | |

| @Jeordanis Figuereo So there is a history of this crash? I have installed the latest stable build. But what I find strange is that my bar has double the icons. Maybe there is a config file or something going wrong. I uninstalled Ornatrix and re-installed and it's still the same problem.
