Problem

Description:

Hey guys! Not sure if that's the right place to report my problem. I'm trying to get my hair done and I'm always facing the same problem...No matter what I do, the hair always overlap each other and they are looking like metal wire...I've separated the mesh in 3 parts with a group of ornatrix modifiers each:

1-ox guides form surface

2-ox edit guides

3-ox strand detail

4-ox strand frizz

5-ox render settings

6-vrayornatrixmod

I kind of got the look I want...I only need to get some natural look and get rid of those overlapping hairs...by the way I'm trying to make Tyrion Lannister's(Game of Thrones) hair

What do you guys suggest for that?

I really appreciate if you guys can help me with that! Thanks.

I think your settup looks OK. You might do some more grooming to get a more natural look with brushes or modifers like frizz. The metal wire look I think is more Vray setup with the shader and AA properties. Try some of the Vray Shader presets to get you started and up the AA and GI quaility.
