Problem

Description:

Brushing or cutting hair in a perspective viewport with safe frames on causes the hair to brush/cut incorrectly

I've noticed this bug affects other brushes in the Ox edit guides modifier, including the select tool.

It's only a minor bug, and can be fixed by switching show safe frames off, or working in an orthographic viewport.

Steps to Reproduce:

Turn on show safe frames (shift + f) in a perspective viewport

Try using any of the Brush tools.

Seems to work OK here. Which display driver are you using (Nitrous/DirectX/OpenGL)?

Hi Marsel, when switching to Safe frame mode move the viewport around a bit and zoom in/out then try brushing the hair.  It's easier to notice once I've brushed the hair and am making changes with a smaller brush.  I tested with both Nitrous & Direct 3d, using both 2013 & 2014 and they all generated the same issue.

Ok I think I can see it now, thanks. I will investigate.

This will be fixed in the next build, thanks again.
