I prepared some simple scene just for preview. See the differences between symmetrical and manual sinc placement after copying groom to posed mesh. But I will send you the full mesh anyway so you will see the problem in more depth. Thanks

Are you sure? look at the sinks they are completly different when using symmetry (on the "legs" of the model). Im just copy/paste all modifiers to posed mesh. Progressivefx s.r.o. Korunní 810/104 101 00, Praha 10, Czech Republic VAT Nr.:CZ24258482, TAX ID:24258482

I'm not sure if this is a bug. What I see is: You are copying OxSurfaceComb to another mesh which have another pose, the guides looks a bit different because the sinks were created for another mesh, the sinks are not being conformed to the new mesh. This is expected to happen. If the character was moving then the sinks should move with the character, but this is not the same as copying to sinks from one mesh to another. I'll talk with Marsel to see if we found a workaround for you. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)

I see, but the meshes are identical and just posed. Maybe SurfaceComb is meant to be used differently. Now Im baking everything bellow HairFromGuids mod to baked guides and this works fine for me. Tell me what you find yout from Marsel. Thanks Progressivefx s.r.o. Korunní 810/104 101 00, Praha 10, Czech Republic VAT Nr.:CZ24258482, TAX ID:24258482 |
