Hello there.
I am trying to help a friend with a project and we are wondering if there is any way to change the width/thickness of the Outliers only after applying frizz Modifier. I know it is possible to assign a channel to the Outliers but do know how to go from there
Thank for the answer :)

Hi,

When using the Frizz modifier to create outlier hairs, there is an option called "Add Outlier Channel". When ON, a new per-strand channel will be created containing only the outlier hairs. Then you can use this channel in Change Width to only affect those. I hope it makes sense.

Check out the documentation for the Frizz modifier:

Hello Jeordanis.
Thank you very much for the response.
So i have figured it out because the process is quite self explanatory, however it does not work as intended.
Let me explain .
-The Frizz Amount is set to 0 (I do not want any general frizz)
-The ''Outlier Percentage'' is set to 0.2 (Meaning 20% of the hair will be Outliers, Right ?)
-The Outlier Channel is created.

Then i add 2x ''Change Width'' Modifier and set, one with no Channel for the overal Hair value 0.05 and one for the Outliers with value 0.02.
I then Assign the ''Outlier Frizz'' Channel to the second Modifier, but i CHANGES WIDTH OF ALL THE HAIR *
What i expect is for it to only affect the 0.2 (20%) that i set up before.
I hope i made the issue clear.
Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong ?
Thanks a lot .
