Ornatrix 3dsmax: How to change the orientation of hair guides?

Hi there, I'm using Ornatrix 4 for 3DS Max. In some cases, I need to change their orientation without changing the shape of the hair guides, i.e., rotate a hair guide around it's root. I found a button called "Rotate Strands" in the Root level of Edit Guides modifier. Looks like it can help me achieve this goal, but I don't know how to use this featrue. Could you please give me some tips? Thank you very much :)

Michael McCarthy	In Edit Guides you want to select a Root and then click Rotate Strands button. You can then click and drag on that root to rotate it. You can also use the Rotate Strands operator. Thanks Michael

e-wave	Thank you for the reply. I have tried to click and drag on the root when the "Rotate Strands" button is activated. But I could only get a "manipulator"(see attached picture), and it didn't seem to have any effect? I don't know what I did wrong... Attached Files:

Michael McCarthy	You will need to have Mesh from Strands on and some sort of non uniform mesh on it to see the effect.
