Hi, In the video ornatrix 101 , the Ox Hair from guides modifier scatters the guides across the mesh , I cannot duplicate that with the recent release. Did something change since then? It is an old video btw. | |

| Hi Jeordanis, https://ephere.com/plugins/autodesk/max/ornatrix/docs/5/Guides_from_Shape_Modifier.html , Ornatrix 101: Creating a hair style from splines. is the video im refering to sorry bout that. I copied the modifier stack in the video , but there was no scattering. Is there a workflow vid that actually shows the step by step spline to hair set up?Thanks |

| I'm not sure what happened to the font, I will have someone take a look. The instructions from the video should work for you, HairFromGuides has changed in Ox 5 but it works the same in this case. Make sure you ground the strands, go to OxGroundStrands and use the button in Base Surface to select the distribution mesh, then turn OFF Roots Detached. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer.
