What rendering engine are you using? If you are using VRay make sure to add the VRayOrnatrixMod on top of the modifier stack. You can find it in the VRay toolbar.
Hair From Mesh Strips wont render on Corona at the moment, we are aware of this issue. This feature will be supported in the next version of Ornatrix. Meanwhile you can render the hair by converting it to mesh using the MeshFromStrands modifier.
