Description: | It would be nice to have a brush that pinches groups of hairs to help emphasize clustering. A pinch brush would also help to sculpt the hair more easily. |

If I understand correctly, this brush would take all of the guides currently inside its region and pull them towards their common center? What if user moves the brush? Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

Yes, that's correct. The strength of the pinch could be adusted in a slider or something. John Brophy Fine Art www.jbrophy.com

What I meant is, during first mouse down all guides under the brush would be collected and "pulled together". However, as user moves the brush new guides will enter its region and other guides will exit it. Does that mean new guides will also be pulled towards the same cluster and exiting guides will no longer be affected? Doesn't seem right. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

That's pretty much the way I imagine it. But I don't see the phenomenon that you're describing as being a bad thing. What doesn't seem right about it to you? It's the same with any other brush. As soon as new hairs come in and other hairs go out of the effect radius you will get the same behavior you're talking about. Maybe I'm not seeing the down side to this as clearly as you are, but this behavior seems fine with me.
