Hi,

Would it be possible to have an option in the "hair from mesh Strips" -object to create guides in stead of hairs?

Mainly Because you can not put an "Edit Spline"-modifier on top of hair stack only on guides stack...

Or maybe a "simple" Ox Hair to Guides modifier. So It can be used on top of e.g. Ox Strands Clustering Modifier.

EPHERE	Hi Tim, Don't remember if I tested this properly but have you tried adding Ox Hair from Guides modifier and setting the distribution option to "Hair as guides"? Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

mindmedicine	Hi Marsel, I just tried this, but the ox Hair from guides modifier is not available on an object that is (already) a hair-object. (which is the case with the hair from mesh strips object) Tim

mindmedicine	Hi, Will this feature be implemented in the near future? Or has this been implemented in some form already that I'm maybe missing? I'm working on a project where I want to use hair from mesh strips to create splines on animated geo's surface to use as source splines for Railclone. Thanks, Tim
