Description: | Hi Jeordanis. I had to reopen the defect report because I've tried using the latest built of Ornatrix but the bug that kept happening a while ago still continues. The latest one I've downloaded is 2-4-4-20883. I can play with the volume curves fine, like you showed in the example but the moment I start playing with the other sliders for point count or number of hairs, it crashes. The issue persists in the 3 latest builts. The one that I use 2-1-5-15748 is the latest stable where none of these crashes happens and I can play with any sliders as much as I need. The problem is that unlike in the newer versions, in this version I cannot select the arrows on the mesh strip editing tool. The version of Maya I'm using is 2016. |
Steps to Reproduce: | Same from the last bug report - "Create a mesh strip and make it a nCloth. Create a nConstraint point to surface (In this case, mesh strip and the scalp geo). Select the mesh strip and create Add Hair from Mesh strips. Change the hair per strip slider to a high value like 500 or 1000 and start either playing with view percentage or volume ramp. Also, on volume intensity tab, the value was 2.5 for me. Attache is the file that has the 1st steps for the simulation already done. All is needed is to add the hair into the strip. Thanks! " |
