Problem

Description:

using the scatter op to scatter feathers, I'm finding that when VP2.0 is turned to DirectX, I only see a very small percentage of my feathers scattered on the surface, if I reduce strand coint on the object being scattered then I get more scattered. When I render with arnold I get the full amount of scattered point, but with redshift I get the small amount I see in the viewport.

I've included an example file as well as an image of prescatter/postscatter(OpenGL viewport) and what happens when I render via redshift (3.0.36 latest release)

This is using the current Ornatrix 3.1.8.27041

Steps to Reproduce:

open maya file and render via redshift

Hello,

We are aware of this issue and is being investigated. For now, go to the Scatter node and change Output Shape parameter to Adopt Input Shape.
