Description: | Hello, I wanted to create my first character for animation. I also need hairs. So I decided to use ornatrix hair system. I built a distribution mesh (File "1.JPG") for easier and high quality hair development. Everything looks fine, also in stretching the skin ("2.JPG"). I searched for many tutorials for transfering my hairs to my character ("3.JPG"). Of course, there it is not possible, streching the skin together with the hair.
What is the best way to transfer my hair-system to my character, that I can animate also skin movements? I tried a lot, but nothing works.
Thank you very much! Greetings, Robert

Hi Robert, It will depend how you created the hair, I would like to see your hair stack. In general, if you are done with the hair, you can export it as Ornatrix Alembic, import it into the scene with the final character and then use the generated BakedHair node to attach the hair roots to a new mesh or instead you can use Ground Strands node to do the same.
