Problem

Description:

export any groom from maya 2022 or 2023 (2020 working fine) exported file will have less than 2kb - is not exported fine then its crashiing UE while importing 

what is weirdest of all is that it was working few months back then it stopped and even worked for a while today when i was trying and reimporting stuff 

i have latest V3 build 

i attached the file im working on but that is happening on any fur ball i make as a test from scratch

now as i open the log i got something like that after each export but i dot remember if that was also showing when the export was working or not

Hi,

Are you exporting as OrnatrixAlembic instead of just Alembic?

This may be related to a bug that appeared in Maya 2022.1, but was reportedly fixed in Maya 2022.3.

Exporting selection worked differently compared to exporting the whole scene.

Please check if there is any difference when you do Export All and Export Selected. Also check which is your exact Maya version, maybe get the latest update.
