| Thank you for the report. The dynamics node is not yet operational. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
| That would explain it. Is there a location of TODOs so I don't make false reports on things that aren't yet implemented? -B --- http://nimajneb.com |
| No immediate TODO, but we generally don't expose things until they're ready. This is one of the exceptions since I am testing this node quite a bit here and it is more convenient. Generally things covered in the docs, for example, are what's already in for good. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
| I'm getting this error as well, but with a current build. | solved. First, I copied the glew32.dll into maya2015/bin, replacing the original. Now when adding dynamics, I got an error that Lucid could not load the CUDA driver. Sure enough, I couldn't get an IPR render from VRay with CUDA set either, so downloaded and installed CUDA toolkit (keeps my vid drivers, but updates CUDA), and lo, I could render VRay IPR with CUDA, and in ornatrix, dyamics now works. Recap: - replace maya 2015/bin/glew32.dll with ornatrix/bin/glew32.dll - download CUDA toolkit and install to get latest CUDA drivers Thank you. -ctj |
| Thank you for the follow up, Janney. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.) |
| Copying glew32.dll over the one in Maya 2015\bin should be done by the Ornatrix installer. I just checked and found that it has been done in revision 8908. I don't have Maya 2015 installed and can't try it right now, but I think this should be working and you don't have to do it manually with recent releases. Ivan Kolev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) | Guys i have just downloaded tha latest demo build and im getting the same error??? Ornatrix Info: Ornatrix 2.1.7.16191 Release Demo initialized Ornatrix Warning: Could not load Ephere.Plugins.Lucid.FlexAdapterCuda.dll, error: The specified module could not be found. (0x7e) also i can find the dll that someone said that is fixing the problem, am i missing something? |
| We can't reproduce this. Which is your Maya version? Which is your Windows version? Have you installed any Ornatrix version in the past? Do you have an NVidia video card? Can you list the contents of this directory: C:\Program Files\Ephere\Ornatrix for Maya\bin ? Does the error appear immediately after you load Ornatrix, or you do something else? I think Lucid is only loaded the first time a DynamicsNode is added to the scene. Even with that error, does Ornatrix work? And maybe even Lucid dynamics should work, because it can use Direct3D if CUDA is missing. Ivan Kolev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) E-mail: ivan.kolev at ephere dot com Discord: ikolev |
| same problem in 2020...years later! "// Warning: Ornatrix: Could not load Ephere.Plugins.Lucid.FlexAdapterCuda.dll, error: The specified module could not be found. (0x7e)" - last 3xbuilds Yes I had the demo version installed! any registry scums? (clean it anyways) Nvidia 202ti on win10 tks |
